This course does not apply towards a nursing major. It is offered for non-nursing Majors in the University as a general requirement. This course provides an introduction to important concepts of health which are composed of physical, psychological, social and spiritual-philosophical dimensions. University students are guided to recognize responsibilities and opportunities for improving and protecting their own health as well as that of their community. Students are led to identify unhealthy behaviors and measures to correct them. This course is not offered to seniors.
